Mexican sueño. Every night this bed takes its owners if only metaphysically to their favorite resort in Los Cabos. An exact replica of the resort’s bed was custom made by DeMejico. It features solid mesquite hand-pounded iron nails and fabric that was hand made by Mexican Otomi artisans.
If you like crazy quilts you will love this. Although you could accomplish a headboard treatment like this with a quilt these are actually fabric samples that have been collected and inventively mounted to create a colorful welcoming anchor for this bed. Critical to the success of the design is the unexpected piece of art integrated into the composition. The trio of ruffly throw pillows restates the color story while adding more texture and variety.
This large headboard is actually a space saver. In a room that lacks depth you may fear there′s no room for a headboard but a wall-mounted one like this takes up very little space. Because the room can now accommodate such a substantial-looking bed it appears larger.
